Hi there. I recently purchased a P4T533 from a local computer store. I was assured it was the most stable, highest performing Pentium 4 board available. It's Asus, how could I go wrong right? Well after having my share of random re-boots and reading about many other people having similar problems and a new revision of the board out(mine was 1.3),I contacted the store to RMA the board. They flatly refused and told me to contact Asus. I e-mailed Asus, they told me to RMA through the store. I forwarded this e-mail to the store and they again refused to do anything and told me to RMA through Asus.
My question is who should RMA this? I'm pretty pissed at the store, they obviously don't want my business anymore, even though I've purchased around $1,000 in parts from them in the past month. I don't understand the store's position. They don't lose any money from RMAing a board back to the manufacturer do they?
