It seems that while my CPU is adequately cooled, the MCH on the P4T533-C is not. It just has a small heatsink that gets very hot to the touch, so I wouldn't be surprised if the chip reaches 60C or more routinely when using PC1066 memory. I am wondering if that might cause some stability problems. The problem is that standard chipset coolers wouldn't fit since those use two pins to attach themselves while the existing heatsink is held on by two tongues inserted under metal loops. There's a picture of it here.
Any ideas on how to improve this short of gluing something on?
