Have had the P4S800D-E for a little over a month. It runs stably at 235 fsb giving 3.5 Ghz out of a 3.0C -- before replacing a 4x AGP vid card w/ an 8x, it ran stably at 240fsb = 3.6GHz. Not bad -- not exceptional. (Zalman 7000Cu on P4; Swiftec MCX159 on NB -- P4/NB: 33/31 idle 45/36 load.)
If you've gotten your P4S800D-E above 240 fsb -- how? Maybe what is needed is a chip in the 2.4 - 2.8 GHz range that has more overhead than a 3.0C. Maybe I'm missing something.
Do tell ... thanks
