Specs:
Asus P4S333 MB
Pentium 4 1.6A, Northwood Core
512 pc2100 DDR RAM
LedTek GeForce 3 Ti 200
60 gig maxtor 7200 RPM HD

I have a Problem When I start my computer up from a cold boot nothing comes up on the screen, when I reset it, it goes straight to my BIOS. the BIOS says that the CPU setting is incorrect (set at 1600 mhz) When exit and save the changes, the computer hangs for about 12 minutes and then finally starts up correctly. Anyone know what the problem is?

I've got an p4 2.20Ghz on P4S333 with 3x PQI 512/266 DDRAMs and with the CPU/memory setting other than 1:1 nothing works... Do you think it's the same problem ??? Some solutions ??? I've already tried upgrading BIOS etc... 🙁

😕

What problems? Im running mine stable at 2133mhz (1.6a@133w/1.55v) w/the DDR at 333 (166mhz@2.7v) with no problems.
All my games work, all 4 supplied USB ports are filled too?

try setting the PC to halt on "no errors"
Good luck!

what problems?!?

there is a jumper on the board, (upper left corner) it will apply a 1.6v default during bootup and while running. (even in jumperless mode)

note that your bios will not reflect that change - your voltage option values in bios will be wrong.
1.5v will now = 1.6v, 1.55v will now = 1.65v etc.
