My uncle just got the P4PE and it won't display the BIOS at all when he presses del. He's using the SGI 1600SW with their video card and it won't display, but when he tries the system with my CRT and an old old old video card, it'll display the BIOS. Anyone have any idea of whatg might be going on? The display works perfect on his older motherboard, an Asus P4B266..

Change video cards - it obviously doesn't like it. Also, make very usre it is firmly seated all the way in the slot. The P4PE has a lockbar on the AGP slot that might need to be checked to make sure it is open when the card is inserted.

It's not an AGP card so the lock thing doesn't apply. As for changing it, I'm not sure if it can be done. The monitor can only use that card unless a $400 multilink adapater or something is bought, then you'd have to buy a new video card as well.. Sucks. :(
