I have a comp running P4P800 DLX (my first comps also has same board), and its been doing some weird random reboots. It started when i found the heatsink loose so i took it apart and cleaned it up a bit. And figured that while cleaning out the hardware might as well do software so installed windows. But it would randomly reboot when installing. Changed a few things around like Antec to Enermax PS and different RAM, but it seems that only when a single stick is in it will work. I've been using two Geil cheapo 3200 on it for almost a year 24/7 with no crashes ever. This is weird that all of a sudden the RAM would be messing up. Tried Corsair XMS and Crucial in dual channel, it would usually not even get into windows. Updated BIOS to 1016, seems to be worst :p. Everything while running stock speeds very loose timings. Anyone know whats going on?

Sounds like your CPU is going bad. There are a number of issues that can cause this problem. There's hardware incompatability (SB Audigy is notorious in this respect for this MoBo), northbridge overheating (I notice some memory issues during the summer myself), HD problems (corrupt files, but if it occurs on Windows install it's not the problem). Since you had a loose HS, I'd have to conclude CPU. You can do a few things to get more use, like underclocking and turning off HT which stresses the CPU more, but in my experience it's a progressive problem.
