P4P800 SoundMax Problem

I have my Logitec speakers connected to the SoundMax soundcard that is part of the mobo. I have a Leadtek TV card that has internal cable going to the sound card CD IN.
All ports on the sound card are used by the speakers.
Here is my question:
Each time I turn on the TV software for some reason the Microphone under RECORD goes to MUTE.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
This only happens with the sound card.
