P4P800 Non Deluxe and Slow Memory Benchmark??? What gives?

Hello,

I jsut received this board as well as a P4 3 GHZ. I installed the stuff as well as my Pc3200 Memory. Current timings according to CPU-Z are: 2.5-4-4-8 Frequency of 200 FSB so I am not overclocking anything. I have installed them in Dual Channel Config. (2x 512MB)

I am only getting a memory benchmark with Sisoft Sandra of about 2700mb/sec where I compare it to others they are getting like 5000 and up. What gives?

If there are any people that have this board or are P4 Gurus (ThugsrooK)

Excuse the silly question, but you have the modules in the correct slots? For instance, if the slots were numbered 1-2-3-4 from left to right, your modules are in 1 & 3, or 2 & 4, so you're doing dual-channel?

yub they are in memory slots 1 & 3 and I am still only getting 3000 now since I have upped or lwoered the Cas timings.

Check your cpu settings in the bios. You have Hyper threading on. And check your memory timings and settings. Its just a setting somewhere.

I'm looking at the manual of the P4P800 Deluxe (presumably similar) and the manual shows memory frequency options of 266, 333 and 400, so my speculation is that you should make your 200 a 400 in the BIOS because they use the DDR nomenclature, not the base MHz. Sound like a theory?

Yub memory is at 1:1 It's running at 200/400 and well my scores are pathetic about 3000
