P4P800 heat detection

Is it just me, or do other P4P800's also report the CPU temp as being regularly lower than the motherboard temp?!
I just opened ASUSProbe and got these readings: 27C CPU/30C MOBO

I am using a lapped TT Spark7. Also, my case thermometer shows the case temp to only be 25degrees. Could the MOBO sensor on the P4P800 be near the northbridge?? Measuring northbridge or southbridge temps?
