P4P800 Fries CPU/PSU/Ram =(

So I got a P4P800 because my IC7 wasn't living upto expectation. Pulled it out of the box, unplugged the computer, let the mobo sit in the room air for ~45 minutes in the anti-static bag, strapped on my anti-static wristband, pulled the IC7 out, put the P4P800 in. Boot it up, and about a quarter second of on, then everything powers down. Check over all connections, unplug, replug in, same thing. Pull everything out, put it all back in. Does the same. Put IC7 back in, does the same thing. Get another PSU, plug it in, boots but now says CPU/Ram not working. Get other ram, says CPU isn't working. GRRRRRR! =(

What brand & model of PSU is that first one? You did remember your four-pin auxiliary power, right?
