Ok just recently I rma'd my old motherboard a P4P800 Deluxe because the power switch and reset switch on the panel were dead. I got upgraded to the P4P800-E Deluxe because they were out of stock on my old model. Now I just got the motherboard 2 days ago and set everything up the way I normally do and with care. First I turned on the computer and nothing went on so I loosened the screws on the motherboard and finally it turned on but gave me a POST message saying System failed VGA test. Now I thought it was the motherboard again so I tried my geforce 5700 and it worked fine. So I took out the geforce 5700 and put my Geforce 6800gt back in and still the same thing. I thought it might be a bios issue so I went into the bios and raised the agp frequency to 66mhz and agp voltage to 1.6 thinking this should maybe fix this problem. So I put the 6800gt back in and still same thing. So I went back into the bios and changed the agp frequency to 72mhz but still the same thing. So I updated the bios to the latest version thinking it might be the bios isn't up to date but still the same thing. Thinking it might just be the video card I try it on my friends Dell computer and it works fine! Now I'm just sitting there thinking what the hell?! Why does it work on my friends Dell yet not on my p4p800-e deluxe? I called ASUS and asked them if my geforce 6800gt is actually compatible with this motherboard and they said yes it should be. I have a 500w power supply and this card worked fine on my old p4p800 deluxe but not with the new one. Can anyone please help me figure out a solution to this problem because I basically just hit a wall and have no idea what is going on here.

Does sound like a configuration/compatibility thing (duh)

Have you googled?
have you also posted on forums for that mobo and the vid card?
You might see a hint in the direction of the truth.
But, most of all, have you gone through the BIOS completely thoroughly, every option regardless of how inoffensive it looks, and try to relate it to the problem.

Spent almost the whole day yesterday tweaking the bios to see if any agp frequency or agp voltage would do anything but none of them worked. I don't what else to look for in the bios that would pertain to the card acting up. Yeah I posted on a couple of other sites asking the same question and some went unanswered while another one told me that its the motherboard so not really much help there. I'm still in the process of googling this problem and still haven't come up with anything so far.
