Has anyone done the Vcore droop mod on a P4P800?
I have a P4P800 deluxe. I set VCore to 1.575V. Using MBM5, I monitor VCore. At idle, it is at 1.65V. When running prime95, VCore drops to 1.55V. That is a 0.1V drop!
I have a P4 2.6C CPU. It only overclcoks to 3.19GHz at 4:5 memory ratio (PC3200).
I am wondering if the droop mod would help.
I would like to know how much improvement can be achieved by that mod. Will it let me reach 3.5G? Or, will it only let me go up by a few MHz?
