After using the board for over a month, the system crashed hard 2 weeks ago. Ever since that day, it has not been right. I have been back and forth with emails from Asus.

Basically, I keep telling them the mobo is near dying or something is faulty. No hardware changes in the past few weeks. Have been running a basic set up to figure out the problem. Swapped hard drives, ram, psu, vid card. I have also refomatted and loaded XP several times. The only item I have not touched is the CPU, p4 2.6C, and the board of course. I am getting reboots and BSODs every 10 minutes just from surfing the web. It passes Prime95 though without a hitch. The system even crashes overnight when I am not using the PC. BIOS has been updated to the lastest 1010, per request of Asus.

BSODs include usbport.sys, IRP, nv4, bad pool caller, irq less than, fatal errors, etc. I also get Windows is corrupted. These errors occur with both hard drives running Win XP.

What makes me think it is the board is the temp of the board, Asus probe and the BIOS reports the board running around 41 (idle) -43 full load (prime95). The chip is running fine just under 40C idle.
Most of the systems I have put together for friends with the same board have mobo temps around 25 degrees C.

Any suggestions?
