hi.. just wana know which motherboard to go... i just need the best performance - gaming & applications spicifically coreldraw & photoshop - and web surfing.... and also be able to upgrade my CPU.... (3Ghz up)

which would give me the best overall performance......

I really liked the i850 chipset but, lets face it RAMBUS is on it's way out. I had a Gigabyte 8INXP and was very dissapointed. I just picked up a Gigabyte SQ800 which uses the new SIS655 and it is totally stable and very fast.

This is a tough question - P4G8X will probably give you slightly better performance but, P4T533 will have better stability. Wither board will be a good choice. My advise would be to get P4G8X just because you won't be stuck having to buy expensive RC1066 RDRAM.

thanks... i guess the new GRANITE BAY chipsets are way to go with the current trend today... i guess rambus is really going out now.... 🙁
