PK, first and formost, what does the "-e" for the P4C board mean? There is no reference to it on asus's website.
Next, I have heard alot more about the P4P, and so I dont know that much about the P4C board. I want a good solid platform, and one that will run with the new video cards (R9800pro256 or GFx5900ultra) without a problem. The current rig that im running is based on the ASUS P4G8X MoBo and I cant run anything ATI, which is what really sucks because I dumped 430 into a new 9700 pro AIW, and it NEVER WORKED. I here its a common problem, but ill be damned if I am not going to have a top of the line system.
So, money aside, which MoBo is going to give me the best speed and the best reliability? Keep in mind, I am scrapping $2800 worth of somputer because its not stable, thats how much I want stability.
Here is what im thinking for specs:
P4 3.0c
1GB of RAM (undecided on brand at the moment)
9800 pro 256 or GFx5900 Ultra
Stability, and speed. Suggestions? Oh, and if you could suggest ram for whatever MoBo you suggest, that would be great
Thanks!
