Ive been running the above MB with 2 x 36 GB Raptors in RAID-0 for over 2 years with no problems.

I want to add another hardrive to the mix for additional storage of MP3's and video storage.

Can I just add say a 250 GB PATA drive and will it work? Or can I not run a single HD by itself with RAID-0 going?

I could easily just add an external HD but I could get a lot more internal storage for a cheaper price.

Thanks

As long as there's a place on the motherboard, get a nice, big hard drive and use it for data alone.

I also own an Asus P4C800-E and uses an 80 GB IDE system drive and two Hitachi 80 GB hard drives in RAID-0 on the Intel ICH-5 Raid controller.

No problems at all.

Thanks for the help.

What about the two free SATA ports? Will a single SATA drive work?
