I am going to buy a P4 2.4 or 2.6C and overclock it. I have always overclocked and want a board that can handle that task + be stable.

I like the Abit and Asus boards from experience....my Gigabyte wasn't bad either for my P133.

Many are recommending the IS7 or other 865PE boards, but I believe that is from a price standpoint. I don't upgrade often so would rather spend as much as it takes to get a nice board and be done with it for a while.

I realize each of these boards will be around $180 (Abit being a little higher and the Asus a little lower).

I can't find a definitive answer and it seems much is hit or miss with either board.

Anyone have any suggestions, also if you know the memory to go with (shooting for 3.2GHz+) let me know.

I can't provide any detail aspect of either mobo you want, but I have tried 3 of 875 mobos.
Abit IC7 (NONE-G) - cheapest one
DFI LP PRO875-B
SoyoTek P4ICWB

Only Abit IC7 can run my P4 2.4B at 3.24Ghz@1.675V w/o any problem.
(Although, I can run it at 3.4Ghz, but I don't like it to run at 1.725V)

On the other hand, I can only run the SAME CPU at 3.1 and 3.0 with other two even w/ 1.7V

Anyway, I have been only using the IC7 for around 4 weeks, but it has NOT even choke once. (yes, I do also play COD/ Helo on it)

Either boards will be great for overclocking. I'm using an Asus P4C800-E @ 275fsb, completely tested and stable 24/7.

Just pick either one of these based on what features you need. Both boards are great for OCing.
