Just ran the blend torture test for an hour and got no errors using one module. What does this exactly imply in accordance to my problem?

What I would read into that is that either one module is bad, or one of the northbridge's two memory controllers is bad. Try the other module in that same slot. If it comes up clean too, then try one module hooked up to the other memory channel (the slot that you vacated when you tested with one module versus two).

If a single module works in the other channel too, then 😕!

I never expected this. Tried the other module in same slot and it came up with errors. These modules were handled carefully. Can I still RMA?

It seems 100% proper to RMA here, yeah. Since you can't do the RMA right this second, you might test the good module on the other slot just to ensure it isn't a compound problem of some kind.

Looks like your persistence is getting you somewhere 😎

Yes, I deeply thank you for your kind assistance mechBgon. The problem with RMA'ing now is I bought this ram back in September. I don't know if NewEgg will still do it.

You're welcome 🙂 RMA it to Corsair if necessary, they have a reputation for taking care of things. And you can print your Newegg invoice out if they need proof of purchase.
