P4C800-E DELUXE-back from RMA and no video-DEEP SIGH

like the title says, i just got it back put the cpu,hsf,new PS,

popped in my gf4 and fired it up, it sprang too life with no vid,

switched monitors nothing, cleared the cmos, reseated the ram and vid

still NADA, did i miss something? the card is definately powering up, but no vid,

im hoping this thing isn t dead, ive got a viper 770 around here but can t find it--aint that the way

any help would be great

Ah. When people build systems, I tend to tell people to check and make sure the CPU is seated right. It may LOOK like it's seated right, but it might not be. With the CPU seated incorrectly, your computer will power on, the fans and everything will start spinning. Just, nothing will happen. Are you getting any beeps at all? Through personal experience, I almost RMAed my Video card and motherboard afeter gettting a new video card and HSF, thinking I damaged them both. Good think I checked the CPU first, and saved myself the hastle.

Did they repair or replace the board?

i can hear the cpu and the hsf is warm to hot so im pretty sure its good on the CPU front

pretty sure they replaced the board
