P4C800 E Delux is checking for drives on raid connector, how to turn that off?

Hi, I am running a P4C800 E Deluxe, and whenever I boot the computer, the board is checking for Raid drives, which takes 8 sec (dang)... I am not yet running a raid, since I only have one HDD... I can also not access the Raid bios (Ctrl-F)...

Any advice?

Disable the Promise RAID Controller in the BIOS.

Thank you, I did disable the controller, but still got that scanning... Finally updated the bios, now it is working...
