p4c800-e - 32 bit disk access

Was looking through the bios of my p4c800-e. I found an option for 32 bit disk access which was set at disabled by default. I did a file access test with Sandra and found very little if no difference between having this enable or disabled. I am running a WD 120GB drive, no raid, DMA 5.

Any idea what this is for if it seeems to make no difference?
