P4c and pc2100 ram question...

I am considering picking up an Asus P4P800 motherboard, and a P4c 2.4 cpu, and was wondering if anyone has any idea if it will run will pc2100 ram until I can upgrade it? I am not suggesting it run at default speeds, but if it will run at a lower fsb (of course), and possibly a lower clock speed for the cpu. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thank you for the link, but I was asking if the P4c 2.4ghz cpu would work with pc2100 memory in that motherboard. I know the motherboard supports the, just didn't know if it would work in conjunction with the 800mhz fsb cpu. I will find out soon enough, board and cpu are on the way
