P4C-800E Deluxe Beeps

I find the fact that this motherboard beeps upon boot up for every USB port that is in use very annoying. Aside from disconnecting the internal speaker from the motherboard, is there a way to stop this board from beeping?

BIOS 1014 allows this to be disabled.

I must be missing something because I've flashed the BIOS twice with 1014, one version from the German website and the other from the Taiwanese website and I couldn't find this feature in the BIOS. Can you tell me explicitly where in the BIOS I can disable this annoying feature?

I dunno. I just saw it in the BIOS list of updates. I still have the 1011 BIOS.

Sorry, I thought that may be the answer. I guess it isn;t. 🙁

giorgione, choose "Load Setup Defaults" in the BIOS, save and reboot, the beeps will be gone.
