P4C 2.4 Mal OC

Oh my good I just recieved a malasia chip and it won't go above 3gig.

I have 5 P4C's tight now and there is no disernable differnece as to what one is better. With the same ram and MB they are identical. 2 of my chips will hit 3.2 gig and 3 will hot 3gig all with stock cooling. And no the two that hit 3.2 gig are not the same. One is a Mal packed 5/03 and the other is a Costa packed 6/6. All of them will do 3gig easily.

You guys do realize that the chips aren't fabricated in Malaysia, right?... Just packaged there. The silicon is fabricated right here in the USA, mostly Oregon.

My take on it: Northwood: The myth of Costa Rica vs Malaysia

pm's take on it: Intel CPU Markings (ie. Malay vs. Costa Rica)
