My P4B533-V will not boot.
I have nothing pluged in except the CPU and the mobo to the PSU, I am using the onboard video but same problems happens when I stick the Ti500 in the AGP slot.

When I put the DDR in the system it turns on (fans spinning) and then it all just shuts down. Green light on mobo is still on
When I pull the DDR out of the system it turns on (fans spinning) and runs but nothing comes up on the screen.
When I put the DDR into any of the oter DIMM slots same problem.
When I put the the DDR into my roommates Athlon system. the system boots fine.
When I put his DDR into my system I get the same problem on the P4B533-V.

HELP!!!

Not much detail though, you may try simple things like :
-using another DDR stick or cleaning the gold plated contacts of the RAM,
-pluging into a different wall outlet,
-check the Litium batery disc or clean its contact (you know where it is-near the BIOS chip),
Don't forget to inspect the M/B thoroughly front and back, clean it with soft cloth to remove dirt or anything that may short-circuit the conponents. Never fit the M/B onto the case when you first trial booting, just setup everything on an insulation plate and use the on-board VGA without anything atttached, no keyboard no mouse, only a proven PWS, RAM, cpu, and monitor. If a simple setup won't boot and beep ---you have no other choice but RMA only!! Attempt other things any further you may fry the board and void warrantee.

Good Luck

Have you checked to see if your CPU is seated properly in its socket? The same thing happened to me what you describe above, i.e. machine powers up for a split second then powers off (mobo's green LED still on). I found that the CPU lifted up a bit when I pushed the lever down to clamp it, so what I did was I gently pressed the CPU down from around its edges, then I put the heatsink back on it and it powered up fine. Strange eh? :)
