Just curious about this. I'm planning on buying the mobo for an Intel 2.8ghz and the specs on newegg.com list that it goes to 2.2ghz + (but does this mean 2.8? and why wouldn't they lest that?)
the other thing it mentioned is that it takes PC2100 and PC1600 DDR ram?
But what about PC2700? Are the newegg.com descriptions simply out of date or is there another board that I should be looking at.
What I want:
an Intel board with built in RAID (none of that having to buy an adapter stuff like on the P4PE) and takes PC2700 DDR Ram. I'll be getting a 2.8ghz processor. If the P4B533 is a bad choice, what should I be looking at. The built-in (and hassle free) RAID is essential and the reviews for the P4B533-E look good so the specs are the only thing I'm questions. thanks.
