P4B533-E and 512Mb Kingston ram

I just got a P4 1.6A and an Asus P4B533-E and currently I run 2400 @ 1.525v (would prolly do it with stock vcore too but as I plan to up it more I figure I could slowly raise the voltage).
Only got one problem with the mobo, it won't accept my 512Mb Kingston ValueRam (crappy for oc'ing I know, but a leftover from on of my Athlon boxes) with Infeneon chips. Use a 256Mb module now, also Kingston but with Samsung chips. Anybody have an idea why it won't run (doesn't start at all) with the 512Mb block?

* bump *

Not that it matter that much to me now as a 512Mb Samsung pc2700 module should arrive today but it'd be nice to know if others have heard of this problem
