P4B266 Types?

Hello,

I am getting very close to putting together a P4 system. I am not sure if I am going 850 or 845 yet but I have a question about the 845 mobos from ASUS. It appears there are several different kinds of P4B266 mobos....there is the P4B266 and P4B266-c. There seems to be a ~$35 between the two and I notice that ASUS has different bios listed for each board. The only difference I can figure out is that the -C varient has only 2 memory slots. What else is different?

I am really interested in the -C varient as it is a nice cool $117 at Newegg.

As a bonus question, anyone know why newegg stopped carrying the ASUS P4T-E?

Thanks for any info.

There are actually several USB 2.0 devices out there right now. The problem is, until the "good" devices make the switch (webcams, scanners, card readers, etc) it will be of little use to most people. Unless you're relying on USB for external storage needs, there's little reason to worry about the 2.0 flavor right now. Besides, you can pick up a cheap ($20 or less) 4 or 5-port PCI 2.0 card most anywhere when (if) you need it.
