I recently apdated the bios on my P4P800D mobo and had a very pleasant surprise.
Using the inbuilt O/C features I set the O/C at 30% and enables MAM just to see what would happen.
Previously using numerous methods or approaches I could only achieve a stable 2.8 ghz.
With the new bios and settings I now had a rock solid 3.14 ghz and my crucial pc2700 running in dual channel mode at 173 mhz.
I wonder just what Asus have done with the two latest bios updates that makes this possible.
I was so sceptical I benchmarked the system and all the results were true.
