Retail Box set with Heatsink & Fan Combo
Pentium 4 Processor 2.26Ghz
System Bus 533Mhz 512KB L2 cache PGA-478
Product code : BX80532PE22660 SL683
FPO/BATCH : L214B517

Someone is selling that 2nd-hand, anyone know what sort of OC I could expect on the stock cooling?
Will a 400 fsb mobo work with the new 533 fsb cpus? I guess so but I dunno tech stuff so check with u guys.
I want GA-8SRX or GA-8SR533
They are both 400MHZ fsb DDR mobos, I have heard in various forums the GA-8SRX is a good mobo and got around 135 fsb with a p4 1.8A and around 150 with 1.6A

It would be great if I could get a 140fsb on stock cooling but I dunno, what could I expect?

I dunno about thous boards, but I deffently know with the right memery, you could hit 150 FSB with a Epox4G4A+ pretty easily(stock cooling), I'm thinking of either getting a 2.26, or a 2.53.... Waiting to see the reasults that everyone gets with the new chips as well.

Hope this helps :\

Yep thanks, 150fsb OC on stock cooler??? So erm does that mean that its effectively 133 fsb at stock speed, no OCing?
Im new to this stuff

The P4 2.26 is an excellent overclocker.

Most 2.26s should hit 2.8GHz with the stock cooler.

I have even seen quite a few hit 3GHz with the stock cooler!
