I thought I was gonna get a good deal from Newegg after ordering a " refurbished P4 2.26"-only to receive an apology email from them telling me that there was a mistake in their inventory...
So now im keeping my P4 2.5- I need your help in getting more MHZ out of it---here's my problem ...the highest i can go is 120 fsb (3 GHz STABLE)at default voltage/2-2-2-6 with my xms 3500... HOW COME I CANT GO STABLE AT 121 regardless of voltage and memory and other bios tweaks? Idle temp is 34 and 46-48 at full...
ANY TIPS GURUS?

121fsb?
hehe ~ skip it and go directly to 133fsb, do not pass go, do not collect $200 ;)
you may need to add some vcore....

"thugs stable"? no no no ~ i learned all that stability stuff from Duvie, blame him ;)

i have a 2.5 also, i got it up to 3ghz stable, but that was with stock heatsink/fan. I'm gonna buy a better h/f and see what I can get her up to.
