Hey AT

I've been wondering how to read the NB temp on my P5Q, if it's possible. The stock cooler was quite hot to the touch, so I slapped on a Thermaltake Spirit II applied with some AS5. It's noticably cooler to the touch, but still pretty warm. It's kind of sandwiched between my xigmatek S1283 and my GTX, so i'm not sure that it's getting very good airflow.

Any thoughts? I wish I had a lower PCI-e slot and my zigmatek was a tad smaller, so it'd fit better and maybe have some better airflow

You can't read NB temps on the P5Qs in the bios :(, the only way is with an infra-red/laser thermometer. I tried that but got eratic readings, turns out with my one you can't measure temps on shiny metal surfaces

If you're are interested anyway I'm sure you could find the info I posted, hmm can't remember if I created a new thread for it  ........... I think it was in someone elses thread with a similiar title to yours.
..... yea I'm sure of it now! ;)
