I have the 2.4 overclocked to a 2.7 on a Abit BH7. Is it normal for the CPU Temp to jump from 38-39 idle to 59-63 under full load? I know the BH7 is suppose to display temps that are higher than actual, but that huge difference between load temp and idle temp worries me.

you'd better check your HSF for that. What kind of HSF in your system anyway? Abit's known to be showing higher temperature than it should be but jump from 39C to 63C that's too much. How about at stock speed (non overclock), what temperature for idle and full load?

I have Abit It7-max with celeron 2.0@2.8Ghz and TT V7+, my idle temp is around 37-38C and full load 47-50C (system full load 32-33C)

Usually when you get big swings from idle to load like that is the sign the fan does not push enough cfm to effectively pull heat off of heatsink fast enough....

Abit high temps aside the idle temps are great!!! Actually a bit surprising....

I would reapply the artic Silver agian...Please use the thinnest of layers...If temps stay the same dump the retail fan unit if you want to oc higher later...Retail units use 70mm fans that run often in the 2000's range for rpm and thus likely don't push more then 30cfm.....I push near 50cfm with my 80mm fan and at higher rpm....

Rightnow sitting here I am running at 34c idle!!!! I load no more then 44-45c....I think 10c swing is ideal...
