P4 Question

I was wondering if testing a 1.8A GHz P4 in this system would damage anything.....the 1.8A may be dead, but i'm not completely sure, it was in a mobo that got shorted out. so if i test will it damage anything?

I can't think of an example of where a dead cpu can damage other components.

doubt it wood hurt anything else if its is in fact dead. prolly just won't post.
