So I've been browsing the forums for suggestions on P4E heatsink/fan combos but I don't see much for socket 478 prescotts. I'm currently running the stock HS with arctic silver 5 and its working fine but does anyone have suggestions for a HS that'll keep my P4 3.0E cooler for OCing? I have an enlight 7250 which has a duct on the side panel over the CPU. Helps get all that hot air out but imposes a height limit on any HS/fan solutions...

Thanks,
Byers

Ppl around here will probably suggest Thermalright or Zalman as far as air cooling solutions goes. Unless your looking at something elaborate like water cooling.

I have a 3.4Ghz Prescot in socket 478 and I use the Zalman CNPS700B-AlCU. Like it lots :) There are others that will recommend other solutions of course. There are several threads here on Zalman vs. Thermalright. In the end, you gotta go with what you prefer.

One note tho, some of these coolers are LARGE. You really need to have a good idea how much space you have surrounding your CPU.
