I'm currently running a Celeron 566a @ 850mhz on a 250W power supply. Works fine. Running MB Monitor, my voltages are:

+3.3 : 3.25
+5.0 : 5.00
+12 : 12.10
-12 : -11.66
-5.0 : -4.94

This is under load running Prime95. Do you think this power supply would be sufficient for a P4 1.6a running overclocked to ~2.3 ghz? The only line that seems a little weak right now is my -12.

I would try it first....can't hurt....

If you plan ocing much doubt it....

my antec 350watt atx12v power supply gets 12.03v at idle at 2.2ghz while my sparkle 350 watt atx 2.01 would be 11.90v....under load antec would only fall to 11.9-11.96, while the sparkle would drop to 11.64.... .13v drop versus .26v drop...could add up to stability issues

since the vcore is set off of the 12v rail for the pentium 4's, as the 12v rail goes so does the vcore...I noticed much more vcore fluctuation (4-5% during load) with the sparkle...cut that in half with the antec. the fluctuations in vcore can definitely lead to stability issues...

Look at the rating and Iwould think if the 12v rail has 12amps or greater you may be fine...however if you have an over abundance of drives and cas fans that may be an issue as well...

my sparkle was 10a on 12v for a maximum of 120watts on 12v rail....antec is 15a on 12v rail for 180 watts max...I have 4 drives and 2 case fans...

I only have 1 hard drive and 1 case fan (the one on the power supply). CPU fan is an 80mm Panaflo. My CPU temp is fine so I haven't bothered to add more fans. Other than that, the only power hungry device in my machine is a GF2 which isn't overclocked.
