P4 overclocking

I have a question regarding overclocking of the Intel P4 CPU.

I have a P4 1,7 GHz CPU. It is accelerated to 17x133 = 2261 MHz with the help of thermal cooling, the memory runs at 3x133 = 400 MHz and the system is stable.

The question is, what does besides the CPU run outside specifications? Or is it only the communication between the CPU and the chipset, which is boosted. I have been using both the ASUS P4T and ABIT TH7-Raid motherboard
