P4 Motherboards

What would be the best choices for a 1)P4 + RDRAM and 2)P4 + DDRAM ?

I have a Asus P4533T-C but I know something newer came out after that. I am looking to build for a pal and was wondering what the motherboard options for P4 were. I think I have a handle on the AMD side (nForce2 vs KT400 right?).

Thanks in advance helpful folks.

Well RDRam is typically faster (and more expensive) than Single Channel DDR. So if you have the extra money, go for the RDRam board. If your looking for a higher compatability for the future upgrades though, I'd go with the DDR (I am assuming that's what you meant) board.

Basically I see two options for P4 + RDRAM
Asus P4533T-C and Asus P4533T

For the DDR boards I'm not so sure. What it looks like is the 845PE is the king of DDR+P4 if I am not mistaken? Anyone have experience with these boards?

Thanks.

For DDR, 845PE is very good. For RDRAM performace with DDR, the Granite Bay dual channel DDR mobo's are just starting to come out.
