P4 motherboard recommendation

I'm looking to get a 3.0 GHz P4 with 512MB of memory and am wondering what the motherboards of choice are these days. I'm not planning on overclocking.

Also, is Hyperthreading something I should be concerned with? Do only certain motherboards/processors support it?

Thanks!

I see another thread is active on this topic. Sorry for the repitition - if anyone has any experience with current P4 boards I'd love to hear about them (in either the other thread or this one).

Go to anandtech.com and read the newwest P4 chipset review. Looks liek the best P4 chipset is now a SiS one.

i was researching this stuff with the 3.0 with 512mb hyper x pc3200 ram and came up with this conclusion

MSI 865PE NEO 2--

highly rated by tomshardware and others as one of the fastest motherboards that surpasses even the 875 chipset mobo's with and extremely high overclock potential- the best part is i found NO negative reviews, lol...

i just ordered one from newegg for $142 last night and gonna put my system together next week but i have high hopes for it-

i was also checking out the Asus P4P800 deluxe which is around $125-- it looked pretty good too
