p4 mobo and memory

whats the best overclocking board and memory combination for a p4 1.6a? will i need a bigger cpu fan if i overclock it to around 2g? 2g is not hard to reach right?? can u also recomend a board that is economical yet has good oc features just to get what i want.. thnks

for 'economical' p4 sys,u can consider ddr based sis645dx boards..beware,the ddr pricing is rising very fast now....and most northwood based p4 hav a gud ocability,if the retail hsf not enuf for u ,then only u buy a new 1,no hurries on getting an extra hsf.

2.133ghz should be a gimme...heck even 2.4ghz with newer packing 1.6's are very commonplace...You can even use retail hsf...

I would not get a sis board....Why cause you say 2ghz now, but trust me you will be hooked and want to push here more...The sis645dx for many seems to hit wall around 150fsb...You could possible limit yourself on your ocing....

Look at epox 4g4a which can be had for just at 100 dollars with a whole host of features including usb 2.0....I think the most controls available in any mobo. All you need to tweak everything to its max...
