P4 mobile help please

Well I was going to get an HP A64 system but I honestly cant get past the choice of the 440go so Im going with the HP zx5000 or Compaq R3000T dedicated because of the Mobility 9600... still havent decided which one i think looks better.

My question is, will choosing the mobile 2.8 over the mobile 2.4 make that big of a difference? Ive tried to find benches between the two but have come up empty.

not to push this off topic, but you're better off with a pentium M 1.7 if you can find a system you like that offers it.

Well if you choose the 2.4 what are you putting the extra cash towards? More memory when ur new lappy arrives? Maybe a 7200 rpm drive for ur new baby? Lots of questions to be ansered. if you have no plans for the extra cash then go ahead with the 2.8 you will always get a bit more out or u baby the more mhz's u got.
