That is a huge die. Core will get cracked if people start doing this. There's no 'feet' to help ease the pressure.

There are no feet on the PIIIs and they are heatsink to die contact. 😉

quite a few are doing just that with the 1.2GHz celerons for better cooling!

With my experience with P4s- cooling isnt usually much of a problem. It would only be for the most extreme tweakers
