P4 cpu - bent pins - suggestions ?

I've just received a P4 2.6c cpu that i purchased from somebody on this forum, and when i opened up the packaging, i noticed a large number of pins bent.

I have spent around 45 minutes trying to bend pins back (using a needle) but there are just so many pins not straight, i cannot get it installed into the socket.

Any suggestions on this ? i have emailed and pm'd the person who sold it to me.

use a needle nose pliers

sorry guys got it sorted now, the seller was willing to give me a full refund, but i've spoken to a local computer store, and they have a board that can straighten the pins for me
