P4 Connector Wont Reach

Hey guys i need an alternative to buying a new suppyl as my current OCZ 600 W StealthXStream wont fit in my new CM 690 case, and im really battling to find an extension for it, bcoz my P4 plug is in the top left of my board and PSU mount bottom, i was thinking of getting an old PSU and chopping off the P4 connector and chopping mine off so i can extend it, with solder and stuff, but i dont like chopping stuff esp not power cables and stuff, and im worried i run into voltage issues as well if i solder it, whats ur guys views as i dont wana buy another PSU, and cant find the P4 power extension, well not in South Africa atleast, or not freely available, and need a solution by today, NEED MY PC!!!! Appreciate the help otherwise chopping and changing gonna be my alternative
 
I don't think NE will ship to South Africa boys, splice solder and heatshrink will do fine. I wouldn't hack another psu for the wire unless I had a dead psu. Just splice in new wire if the same gauge, you could sleeve the entire length to hide the splice.
