i am currently trying to build a super cheap socket478 system.
i am going to be buying a slim microatx inwin case, and i have just bought a shuttle ms51n
sis 650 motherboard, with onboard video, sound and lan.
now that board supports 400 and 533 bus and ddr so i think i'm all set. I've been trying to get a p4 socket478 for less than $100 with fan, but yeah no luck. Cant even get a williamette 1.5 478 for that . So i'm wondering when the socket478 celeron will come out hoping they will make my price cut, or should ijust bite the bullet and buy a 1.6A and hope it o/cs to 2.133 ghz with no voltage increase. also whats the likelihood of that happening? anyone know
