When I had my Epox i845D mobo in this rig, I noticed that the C1 stepping cpu's were running roughly 6+C hotter than a B0 stepping cpu @ 1.525v. Now that I have an E7205 mobo, I am seeing the same results. Has anone else noticed this?

I think he mentioned a 2.0 ;)

Intel has a price drop on Monday for 2.4 and above.

Does it matter that my 1.8a doesn't support HTT? Running CPUburn now with HTT enable in bios.

Well, if you can help me find the hack to unlock this HTT with all P4 then I can test it. ;)

so far there is no hack.

even intel themselves claimed HT is enabled/disbaled during the manufacturing process and cant be changed.

not sure how true that is tho ;)

Excellent article. It looks like 70ish is the temp to shy away from in order to avoid clock throttling.

I am trying to find a way to disable it in the AX4R+ bios, but I do not see an option.
