P4 and FSB

Since the new P4C's utilize an 800MHz FSB (4x200) does this mean that not all of the bandwidth is utilized if the system was using DDR-400 (2x200)?

New mobos are dual channel DDR. 2 x 200 x 2.

Ahh....makes sense. I was wondering why people would say dual channel AMD systems doesn't make much difference...
However, if the person only had 1 stick of DDR 400, then would they be limiting the FSB to 400MHz?
