I dont think it's in Kelvins, since that would mean that the sensor/probe/program chose to change units. I think the temp reading is an 8 bit integer (as in an integet between 0 and 255) and since the temperature received from the sensor is negative (if it can actually measure negatives) it screws up the output on the program.

It looks to me like they used liquid nitrogen and, if so, then I'd expect the temps to be much lower than -31C (or -13C).

I think you are understating it...they probably have a dedicated nuclear reactor. But hey, overclocking is important damnit!

i think its just that the sensor was effected by the extreme temperature, or voltage of the core, so it couldnt accurately report the temp. i wonder how long they could run that for,
 
Im sure intle would like to see that... If they had it there way fan cooling would be dead and so would water to bad few people would pay that much to use a 4+ ghz cpu.
 
Good lord, how in the world did they manage to get it to boot like that? Do they seriously make mobos with multipliers that high? I'd also like to know how long that thing can run stable, and what kind of benchmarks it can get. Also wonder what they could do with 2 7800gtx's severly OCd.
