The topic says it all... i have a p4 3.2 EE chip brand new in the retail box.

Should i try to sell it?
Or should i build a sick system around it? and if so, what specific parts would anyone recommend...
Money is not too much of an issue, but just wasting money is plain dumb.

Get something like ABIT IC7/ IS7
Asetek WaterChill cooling
some decent ram
X800xt
and overclock everything
That should be a fast rig at 3.75ghz at least. The watercooling setup should push x800xt to 600mhz GPu core easy. Then you'll have one of the fastest rigs on this forum.

Sell it on ebay and use the money too build a system around Athlon 64 instead. Or, have fun with the money some other way. Make sure you sell it to someone with decent feedback and dont take anything but Western union or money order since fraud is too risky with something that costly letting someone pay through paypal which will not refund you if they charge back. Ship, with insurance and tracking via UPS.

Yeah, i think i should just sell it already...anyone interested in helping make an ebay post for it? or should i just try to sell here on the forums...and thankx for all your insight...i would love to build around it, but it's just not worth it...

However, i can only get around 600-700 for selling it...so, keeping it and just building a sick system would be fun...

You could build a sick system with the money you'd make from selling it.

Hellz ya, that would be off the hook...but, i seriously dont' know if i really wanna sell, even if it is just a waste of speed...iono, that's just my thoughts to have one of the fastest systems on the market. :)

I have 2 2.4 sl6z3s, a 2.4 sl6ws, a 2.8e, a 3.0c and am getting a 3.2ee. Id rather sell the previous and keep the latter.

yes, but if you sell it you can get an AMD64 with almost as much power (more in some benchmarks!), a gig of top-quality RAM, AND a Raptor. That would be a nice well-rounded system, which would give you more performance in most cases than pairing the EE with less/slower RAM and a slower hard drive.
