Can someone recommend a good P4 Northwood cooler? I replaced my 2.4c with a 3.0 hoping to get to 3.7 but the stock cooler won't get it there. I'm using an ABIT IC7 MAX 3 mobo that doesn't have much room for other than stock lenght and width. I do have room above the cpu though.

I had a thermalright xp90 on my 3.0 northwood, but i couldnt get past 3.2ghz. The xp120 wont fit without some modding, but the si120 will.
Still think you're wasting your money here.

This is just another system I can setup for my kids. We would like to play some multiplayer games here at the house. BF2 still plays well on it. Just trying to get as much out of it as I can before it goes to computer heaven. :)

Look at "Vin's System Rig" in my sig. It's basically the same genre as yours, but DFI vs ABIT...

I've OC'ed my P4 EE Northwood to 4 GHz (3985 MHz) using a Tower 120 - runs benchmark stable @ 3.8 GHz (3825 MHz)

As far as size/fit goes, while Tower 120s are big, they sit really high off the mobo - so, there's plenty of clearance where it counts! ;)

Here are some purdy pics...

    TEMP 3.4
    TEMP 3.8

Those are some great pics of just what I need! Looks like I'll have to take my mobo out to mount the brackets but it will be worth it. Thanks a bunch! :)
